Barolo DOCG

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a fine power/concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry and wild raspberry combined with small notes of ripe red berries as well as a hint of rose, gray pepper, discreet hints of blond tobacco and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a beautiful fresh/ mineral frame, suavity, a small strightness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, plum and small notes of ripe red berries associated with touches of violet, roses well as discreet hints of liquorice and very discreet/ imperceptible hint of ripe laurel berries (in the background). Tannins are elegant and fine. There are hints of almond and chocolate on the finish (bring a fine chews).

Brezza 2016 – Barolo : Le nez est fruité, racé et offre un grain très fine et une très fine intensité. On y retrouve des notes de cerise bigarreau, de mûre de boysen et plus légèrement de petits fruits sauvages associées à de fines touches de violette, d’iris/rose ainsi qu’à de discrètes pointes de poivre de cuben et de cardamone. La bouche est fruitée, équilibrée et offre une trame juteuse/minérale, de la précision et une fine tension. En bouche ce vin exprime des notes de cerise bigarreau, de mûre charnue/juteuse et plus légèrement de violette associées à de fines touches de prune, de framboise ainsi qu’à de des pointes de fève de tonka, d’épices douces et de tabac blond sucré.
