Excellent – Tobacco and woody character on the nose, followed by ripe dark and some red berries with earthy to woody hints, a touch of black tea, and subtle vegetal nuances. Rather compact, herbaceously juicy fruit with a light woody and tobacco spice, fairly prominent yet fine tannins, some acidity, herbal notes in the background, salt, and a hint of tomato paste. Showing some depth and a solid structure; very good, clean, and dry finish with juice that feels almost fresh and has a reappearing bite.

Aroma abbastanza deciso e tabaccoso di frutti di bosco più rossi che neri con un accenno di erbe da minestra, liquirizia e tabacco. Frutta matura, in parte conservata, con note erbacee, ginepro e un accenno di caffè, ancora un po' di liquirizia in sottofondo, tannino relativamente friabile, sfumature cioccolatose, sentori di cacao e anice stellato, molto buono, finale un po' maltato.
