brezzaWinegrowers in Barolo since 1885, the Brezza family produces wine exclusively from grapes grown in their own vineyards. Currently the family is working 23.5 hectares of land in Langhe of which are 20.5 ha are vineyards and the rest being made up of hazelnut groves and forests.

The vineyards are located a majority in the Barolo area 16.5 ha, of which 12.5 are in the municipality of Barolo, 3 ha in Monforte d’Alba, 1 ha in Novello, and 3 ha between Alba and Diano d’Alba located in the Nebbiolo d’Alba zone.

Our annual production is about 100,000 bottles a year using the native grape varietals of our region are (Dolcetto, Freisa, Barbera, and Nebbiolo). We produce wines which meet the DOC and DOCG standard, a majority of our production is 95% red wine made up of: Barolo Riserva Sarmassa Vigna Bricco, Sarmassa, Cannubi, Castellero, Nebbiolo d’Alba Vigna Santa Rosalia, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba Superiore and Vigna Santa Rosalia, Langhe Freisa, Dolcetto d’Alba, Langhe Rosato and one white that is not native to this land Langhe Chardonnay.
